Baby on board with a fat guy dancing.
Getcho eagle on.
Dream time.
It began on a bright and sunny day in San Jose. I was skateboarding (not longboarding) to class and just passed the science building when I saw my friend Adam from high school. I have been running into him a lot lately for some reason and I happened to run into him again on campus even though he did not attend SJSU. As I tried to slow down to talk to him I stumbled and my board slipped out from under me. But I was not worried about my board going to far because the area I was in was almost like a bowl. The board rolled about 30 yards away before it started rolling back. So I stood there and made small talk with Adam while I watched my board roll around. It rolled back and forth but eventually picked up enough momentum that it went over the edge of the bowl and rolled further down campus. I still had my eye on it and was thinking it would come back. Then, out of no where, I see my skateboard run into a stroller. The skateboard was pushing the stroller towards the street. I panic and run after my skateboard that was now carrying the stroller into traffic. I never caught it...

Toddlers do not dream about themselves until around the age of 3. From the same age, children typically have many more nightmares than adults do until age 7 or 8.

Weird stuff
Totally ridiculous song. But it is catchy... Make your face fall off. Here's a legit song worth listening to.
I like T.I. Great rapper...
Things to talk about... Things to talk about... Hmm... Reno? Ehh... Upcoming Vegas trip? Ehh... School? Nah... Weird stuff? Yes, please.
People who are familiar with my eating habits know that I do not have much of a sweet tooth. I rarely eat dessert, I am not too crazy about chocolate, and I do not eat a lot of sweets in general. The only sugary food/drink in my diet is soda. And I only have that two or three times a week. But lately, I have been craving a lot of sweets. After meals, I start looking for something to satisfy my sweet tooth which has never really happened before. Maybe I am man-struating... Who knows...
Need to sleep earlier....

Faceless money grabber
One of my new favorite albums. I have a feeling I will be listening to this one for years. Interesting note: the band does not incorporate the guitar in their music because the lead singer is "sick of hearing it" in music.
A burden has been lifted. I am faceless. While I do feel somewhat disconnected, I also feel free. Having it removed from my typical daily rounds has changed the way I internets. Not that it felt like a burden to begin with, but it is just a different feeling. I am not sure how long I will go faceless but I am enjoying the peace.
I recently heard someone say something along the lines of "All guys are dogs." Hearing things like that drives me crazy. I heard it again on the radio recently as well. Women who have this mindset need to be burlap-sacked and thrown into a river. Or sterilized. I am not exactly sure what happened in their lives for them to pigeonhole every guy into this ridiculous stereotype, but it has no place in the world in my book. If you really have such problem with men, then become a lesbian. If you date someone with the mindset that they will cheat on you at any given time, there is no trust. If there is no trust, there is no relationship. Grow up. Why even bother with men if you think you are putting yourself in a situation to be hurt. One of two things: you are dumber than a brick or you love the drama and attention.
The funny thing is the girl who said it was actually guilty of cheating on her boyfriend herself. Hypocrite... If I really have to think about it, I probably know more women who cheated than men. Or at least an equal amount. These females need to open the poppy eyes... The world is full of cheaters and liars, both male and female.
Think about it statistically. In some ways it is worse than racism. Even if you stereotype all the Chinese people in the world, that's only 1 billion people out of more than 6 billion people on Earth. If you stereotype all men, that is almost half of the human population. More than 3 billion people. Going back to the example, if you were to say "Chinese people can't drive," that would be suggesting all 1 billion Chinese knew how to drive to begin with. That, of course, is not the case in the real world. By saying "All guys cheat and are dogs," you are saying 3 billion males, regardless of age, sexual preference, etc., will cheat given the opportunity. You are just tilting at windmills...
The only difference between the male and female cheaters is the way the situation is treated. If you look at any media outlet, they typically stigmatize any man who is adulterous e.g. Jesse James, Tiger Woods, Jackie Chan, etc. All of those stories were blown out of proportion forcing them to make numerous public apologies while tarnishing their images forever. On the other side of the argument, women like LeAnn Rimes, Jennifer Lopez, Meg Ryan, and Princess Diana all admitted cheating on their spouses. But how much attention did these stories get? I even had to look up famous female celebrity cheaters to get that list! That's how much the media spins "news". Television shows like "Desperate Housewives" even go as far as glorifying female cheaters. These characters are put on a pedestal instead of in front of a podium. If the show were reversed (think Desperate Stay-At-Home-Husband), would the ratings be the same? Would women find it offensive? Probably. Think about it...

Changes
What is there to say... Not much. I am supposed to be reading for class right now, but instead I am talking to you.
Changes. Changes are coming. By the end of the year I will not be the same person you know now. I guarantee it. They say if you do not have enemies, you have not accomplished anything. By this time next year, I will have new enemies.
"During this fight, I've seen a lot of changing, in the way you feel about me, and in the way I feel about you. In here, there were two guys killing each other, but I guess that's better than twenty million. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change." -Mr. Balboa

Robbed.
After having had my car for over two months, I find out that I have had satellite radio all along. I received a letter today from Sirius and Volkswagen thanking me for my business. Included in the letter was a short brochure and a channel guide. I feel robbed... I have been listening to regular radio like a sucker.
As you probably know, the new year is only a few days away. I have been thinking about my goals for 2011 and some New Year's resolution. The first thing I decided to do for 2011 is to work on being less competitive. I realized I needed to work on this after Anjuli told me I had yelled at her while playing Fat Princess. I still feel guilty even though I do not remember doing it. It would be nice to be able to control my emotions better. I think my competitiveness is not necessarily a crutch but I do think it could be maintained better. I do not want to get mad over a video game...
Second thing I would like to work on is my image. By that I mean working on how I present myself on a regular basis, especially when meeting new people. It generally takes me a while to open up to people for reasons I cannot really explain. Hopefully by the end of the year I will be able to be myself all the time without fear of being stigmatized.
Here are some others in brief:
- Get better at chess
- More ink (possibly in February)
- Finally find a hairstyle that suits me
- Drop to less than 12% body fat
- Learn how to ice skate
- Read more books
Since I told myself I would be sleeping early I will stop here. More on life next time!
Until next time,
The San Jose Sharks have been shut out five times this season in 38 games. Before that, the Sharks had only been shut out five times in 270 games. What does that tell you? The Sharks need better goaltending (Nabby) and better defense. Sad..
